      Thanks to a helpful suggestion from a fellow notifier user, updates
      on the GNOME Gmail Notifier project will be available in ATOM 1.0
      format for use in aggregators. In general, any subversion commits,
      tarball releases, or package/ebuild releases will be noted here.

    <title>Time to Get into the Holiday Spirit</title>

      After a long hiatus from dealing with the GNOME Gmail Notifier, I've
      picked up work again using a shiny new Gentoo development install.
      Expect to see quite a few new changes on the notifier during this
      holiday, as subversion commits have already started back up and a
      new release tarball sporting gnome-keyring and gstreamer support is
      in the works!
      As always, you can stay posted on this feed for releases and send
      issues/bugs to the google code site. Happy holidays!

      Finally, after an entire holiday of sifting through code, issues,
      bugs, and tasks, a completely new release version of the GNOME
      Gmail Notifier, version 0.9.3, has been published to googlecode
      and http://notifier.geekysuavo.org/. If you are using an old
      version, be sure to compile and install this new version, as
      it contains loads of new features and important bugfixes!

      Well, I've released a new version of the GNOME Gmail Notifier
      that uses a GtkFileChooserButton in the preferences window,
      which just makes an all-around better-looking notifier. Feel
      free to upgrade and check it out!

      I know, the Gnome GMail Notifier is a slowly evolving, imperfect
      beast that is rarely ever worked on, but now its Summer and work
      has commenced to bring new features and fixes that will make the
      Notifier a much better application, worthy of the Gnome Desktop.
      This development effort can benefit from your insight, too, so
      feel free to drop the developers a line at the googlecode site
      if you have insight into problems or enhancements you'd like to
      be addressed.

      Actually, it's true! The Notifier is nearing completion of its
      third rewrite since its inception. That means that the highly
      anticipated 0.10.1 version of the Gnome GMail Notifier is due
      out very soon! Keep your eyes peeled and ears open for another
      update to this feed and the repositories for the next version!

      Alright folks, the GNOME Gmail Notifier has finally been completely
      rewritten and updated, and version 0.10.1 is ready for download at
      http://notifier.geekysuavo.org/ and the google code project page.
      Upgrading to the new version should be quick and painless, and your
      account settings and passwords will persist through the switch.
      So get out there and download the latest notifier! I guarantee you'll
      be glad you did. :)
